" Hi. Well, I am extremely happy with my beautiful Mother of the Bride dress! I searched many online stores and visited many in the malls and could not find anything I was happy with. Two weeks before my daughter's wedding I decided to look one more time online and found your website. I immediately found four dresses I would have been happy with but one really stood out! I purchased it and it arrived in two days! As I opened the box and saw the dress I immediately saw it was a good quality material and that the beading and sequences were exquisite! Now I just hoped it would look good on me! I barely had it up and over my shoulders when I ran out of the bathroom and into the living room declaring to my (17 and 22year old) sons that this was my dress for their sister's wedding!!!  Once I zipped it up it fit absolutely perfect and I was giddy with delight the rest of the day! It made me feel how I was hoping to feel, slender, shapely, feminine and, well, beautiful! The wedding was this past weekend and I received so many wonderful comments about my dress and the way it looked on me!  Oh, and your price was well below my budget! "I am still totally amazed at how easy it was to exchange the first dress I ordered for a more appropriate size. I ordered the Natalia too big since I don't usually do well with a dress through my middle. (I usually do better with separates) It was really way too big through the shoulders so thought I should try getting one size smaller. I was ready to regive all my information including the credit card assuming no one would actually send another dress to me without that. I gave almost no information at all and the dress was here in three days. It was a better fit and will need only minor alterations to make it fit perfectly! We no longer live (on the East Coast) where I have my own dressmaker who did amazing and wonderful work and I appreciated very much the inserts you put in the box talking about tailoring tips, return policy and all the clear and concise information. I called and explained the dress was too big and was told it was not a problem and would send a replacement in a smaller size. He told me to keep the bigger one until I received the smaller one because the larger one could be taken in if the smaller one was too small and at no charge for the replacement. She loves it so very much and sometimes tries it on four times a day. When she took it to the mall to purchase a bag and shoes and have them dyed to match the dress, perfect strangers were coming up to her asking to see the dress and remarking how beautiful it is. However, the store doing the dying insisted she had to leave the dress so they could match the color (she chose the blue dress) and this made Doris extremely nervous. She insisted the man give her his card and phone number. He assured her the dress would be locked in a storage locker and nothing would happen to it. She got it back in a week and nothing did happen to it and the shoes and bag match perfectly. All in all this was a perfect transaction and we both thank you so very much. Later."

"I ordered Dolly, in a beautiful shade of pink, from The Evening Store for my mother to wear to my niece’s (her granddaughter’s) wedding.  It not only looked great on her, but was comfortable, and she felt great wearing it.  At 80 years old, she looked and felt beautiful and elegant. She’s petite, and except for needing a small hem, the dress fit perfectly.  I looked at numerous websites, and yours was the only one with this style dress.  Styles with jackets were either too overwhelming for her small frame, or were too low cut. My mother came up from Florida, where she lives, to visit me in Virginia in mid-June.  She was discouraged, as she had not yet found a dress, and time was running out.  The wedding was this past weekend.  To make matters worse, she fell and broke her upper arm during the visit, and it was a struggle for her to try dresses on in the stores.  She became very discouraged, to say the least. I ended up staying up all night, searching the internet, determined to find a dress for her.  The next morning, I showed her dozens of them I had bookmarked, and the only one she even remotely liked was Dolly.  I ordered it in two sizes and two colors (the other a beautiful shade of blue), as time was REALLY running out, and we didn’t have time for any mistakes!  The dresses arrived in a couple of days, as promised, and were both beautiful, and in perfect condition.  In fact, the only problem was that she didn’t have a second wedding to attend, where she could wear the blue one.  I returned the blue one, and we were both very pleased with all aspects of doing business with The Evening Store. "Good morning, Barry. I hope you are doing well today. Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the Natalia dress I purchased from The Evening Store.  I purchased the pink Natalia to wear in my daughter’s wedding on June 7th.  I did not want to comment on the dress until I actually wore it.  Now that the wedding is over I can make very honest statements about the dress. It was PERFECT!  The size chart guided me to the perfect fit. I did not have to have one alteration done on the dress.   The color was indeed much prettier in person.  The website does not do the pink dress justice at all.   I had the dress steamed before traveling 400 miles to the wedding and it traveled so wonderfully! No wrinkles at all.  It was an outside wedding in Charleston, SC and the temperature was very warm and humid. The dress did not show any perspiration marks and was fairly cool. I had so many very nice and positive comments on my dress! I could not be more pleased with the product itself. As for your customer service…it was incredible! As a plus size woman I was faced with finding a suitable Mother of the Bride dress in general but to find one online that I could try AND return was virtually impossible!  Actually, your company was the only one I found and that was the original reason I choose to order from The Evening Store. I ordered two dresses so I could choose colors and returned the one I did not want to keep. "I had been looking at Natalia for almost a year. I was so pleased to find a plus-size dress that was so elegant! As the MOG I had to be careful not to outdress  the MOB OR the bride! I kept searching the net and the local stores, (which are pitifully lacking in fine evening-wear for plus-size women), only to return to your website time and time again. I gave in and placed the order, praying the sizing would be true. To my amazement it arrived in a tiny box but without one wrinkle! And it fits me perfectly everywhere...except the length.
